• Fred Meyer in Warrenton is undergoing a $15-million expansion that will add about 16 workers. The Daily Astorian, 5/30/2013

• Buddha Kat Winery, a wine bar, will open in Seaside in July. The Daily Astorian, 5/28/2013

• Adventist Health Tillamook Regional Medical Center opened the Tillamook Medical Plaza. The $4.5-million building will house urgent care, cardiology, podiatry, medical imaging, internal medicine, family medicine, and general and orthopedic surgery departments. Headlight-Herald, 5/22/2013

SOUTHERN OREGON

• Black Horse Boutique opened in Grants Pass. It offers hats, purses, accessories, and clothes. Grants Pass Daily Courier, 6/2/2013

• The Klamath County School District will eliminate seven teaching positions for the 2013-14 school year. Most positions are expected to be cut through retirements. Herald and News, 6/1/2013

• Deschutes County plans to eliminate about nine full-time equivalent positions in the 2013-2014 fiscal year. The Bulletin, 5/29/2013

• Ricoh Co., a Japanese printer and copier company, will lay off 70 sales, billing, service, and administrative workers at its Tigard facility later this year. The Oregonian, 5/31/2013

• LaCrosse Footwear Inc. plans to open a store for its Danner brand in downtown Portland next fall. Portland Business Journal, 5/20/2013

WILLAMETTE VALLEY

• The Willamette Education Service District Board in Salem approved its 2013-14 budget, which will eliminate up to 37 full-time jobs. Statesman Journal, 6/6/2013

• Canada-based aluminum extruder APEL will move from Springfield to a larger facility in Coburg. It plans to spend $12 million and add 25 to 30 workers. The Register-Guard, 6/6/2013
